There are many different VHS to DVD analog to Digital converters for
sale.
When buying you need to consider many factors, not just the
cost.
Most important are ease of use and the quality of the DVD
once you have transferred to VHS tape to the DVD disk.
VHS to Disk converters are easy to install. Normally you plug the output leads
from your Video Cassette Recorder (VCR) to the input sockets on the analogue
to digital converter. You then plug the lead from the converter
unit into a USB socket on your computer.
Next you often have to install software supplied with the converter
unit so that your computer will be able to understand how to perform the
VHS video to DVD conversion.
Finally once everything is installed you put a blank DVD into your computer
disk drive, put your VHS video into the VCR and then start the computer software
to control the process.
